Ever since the day I realized I wanted to become an entrepreneur, I have always believed na ito ang daan ng Ama para ibigay Niya sa akin ang mga pinapangarap ko.
Kaya nga, given na everything was new to me, bumili talaga ako ng mga digital courses at tools para matuto ako, at para makatulong sa akin para maglaunch ng business.
Hindi ko namalayan, nakarami na ako ng bili, anlaki na ng nagagastos ko, na I myself, couldn’t believe na ganon na kalaki nalabas kong pera.
Pero parang walang nangyari. Hindi ako nakausad. Hindi pa ako nakapagstart magbenta.
Kasi just like you, naranasan kong matakot at ma-stuck sa planning stage.
Paano kung mag-fail ako?
Ano sasabihin ng ibang tao?
Paano kung masayang lang ang pera at oras ko?
Kaya ko ba talaga 'to?
Marami pang fears, pero siguro ito ang top 4 ko.
And looking back, I realized that my fear of failure stems from deep within myself.
You see, by nature, I'm more extrovert than introvert, kaya I may appear confident.
Pero as I have got to know myself better and deeper, narealize ko, hindi pala .
I am a person with low self-esteem.
Napaka indecisive ko. Lagi akong naghahanap ng validation from others bago ako makapagdecide. At kahit nakapag decide na , madalas worried pa rin. Gusto ko may reassurance from others na tama yung ginawa or ginagawa ko.
Kaya kahit I know deep in my heart na gusto ko na talagang maging entrepreneur, hindi ako maka all-out. Meron lang akong marinig na konting doubt or not so nice comment from other people tungkol sa plan ko, nadadown na agad ko at napanghihinaan ng loob.
Pero hindi lang yan. Dahil low ang aking self-esteem, feeling ko, wala akong K maging isang entrepreneur.
Wala akong background.
Wala akong alam.
Hindi ako expert.
Sino ako para magturo sa iba?
Hindi ako magaling, gaya ng mga nakilala kong successful na sa pagiging entrepreneur.
Kaya nga I always end up telling myself, “Baka hindi ito para sa akin.”
These thoughts paralyzed me. Madalas, gusto ko nang sumuko bago pa man magsimula.
But here's the thing - I knew this wasn’t helping me. In fact, it was holding me back from pursuing my dreams.
And after wrestling with these fears for so long, I've learned something important: while it's good to be careful, constantly seeking validation from others and doubting ourselves can prevent us from taking necessary risks and growing.
